So....A little detour...
Before Christmas we were so excited about announcing to our families our decision to adopt. Although, we had rehashed the international vs. domestic debate. We had these sweet pictures made by a friend, they were printed and framed and we were ready.... But God had a slightly different idea. On the first Tuesday of Christmas break (December 20th) I was on my second day of a horrible case of bronchitis. So I called the doctor and made an appointment for later that afternoon. Matthew and a few others from the church went to deliver Christmas gifts to local family in need and I decided to drag myself out of bed to get ready. I knew that the first question the doctor would ask me would be if I were pregnant. So I decided to go ahead and do an at home test before I went, just so I could say no.
